Q: Is your pottery dishwasher and microwave safe?

A: Sure is!  *Except for items with luster or gold. Because it is a handmade item, you may want to hand wash to extend the life of your pottery. That being said, we never do.

 

Q: Is your pottery food safe?

A: Yes! Our pottery is made with stoneware which is fired twice. At its top temperature, it reaches 2200-2270 °F. We use commercial glazes which are lead free.

 

Q: Do you ship outside of the United States?

A: No, currently we are shipping only within the continental United States.

 

Q: Why the name Mud Tree Designs?

A: I wanted a name that could grow with my company. Pottery comes from the earth (mud) and my husband loves woodworking (tree), so there you go...Mud Tree Designs.

 

Q: Do you take custom or wholesale orders?

A: Because I am a one-woman-company, it all depends on how busy I am with preparing for upcoming shows and completing previous orders. Please feel free to contact me to see if it's something I can do.

 

Q: What charities do you donate to?

A: Giving back is super important to us. Currently, we are supporting: One Neighborhood Foundation (Vienna Foodies), Rustic Love Vienna , Food For Others, and Committee for Helping Others.
